GETTING HERE

On foot

In addition to the traditional route via Hegyalja Road, Sánc Street, and Szirtes Road, several scenic walking paths lead up Gellért Hill from Tabán and St Gellért Square, all connecting to the promenade surrounding the Citadella.

By public transport

Take bus 27 to the Búsuló Juhász stop. From there, the Citadella entrance (north side) is just a 6-minute walk (500 metres) along Szirtes Road.

By car

The Citadella can be reached via the roads leading up Gellért Hill. A limited number of paid parking spaces are available nearby.
